Hi there, I'm Garima, and this is the story of how Kora came to be.

It started, like so many things do, with becoming a mom. I thought I was ready. I'd read the books, followed the experts, done my research. I was prepared for anything. Or so I thought.

Motherhood has a way of humbling you quickly. No amount of preparation truly readies you for the beautiful chaos of raising a little human - the exhaustion, the joy, the constant feeling that you're somehow doing it all and barely keeping up at the same time. I was navigating a demanding career, a wonderfully wild child, and somewhere in the background, the faint memory of a social life.

And then came the activities. I wanted the best for my son - piano lessons, enriching experiences, the things that light kids up and stay with them. But finding them? That was its own second job.

In a world where technology has connected us and AI is reshaping industries, the kids' activity space felt stuck in the past. I was relying on word-of-mouth, word-of-mouth! to find a good teacher. And once I finally did, the scheduling, the sign-ups, the endless back-and-forth emails, the manual calendar juggling... it was a constant, low-hum of stress that never quite went away.

Somewhere between a maze of browser tabs and sticky notes, it hit me: there had to be a better way.
